Hut happiness
I haven't stopped lately to update, but went for a super quick and efficent hut trip into the purcell's west of invermere last week (Jan 19-20)with a solid group of six. We primarily worked east facing alpine features around the 2800m mark. Not much to report other then we were able to ski steep east alpine features with little to no sluffing in absolutely amazing morning sunlight. We surprisingly saw very little in terms of natural activity in the area, with the exception of a few slides to size 1.5 on north facing features that appeared to result from cornince failure some time during the last storm.
